You’ll notice a resume is optional is for some roles. We’re more interested in what you can do and how you do it— not your complete job history.

After you apply, you’ll receive a message prompting you to share a short video. The topic is:

“Imagine your perfect day. Who are you with? What are you doing?”

This is fun—not a video interview! We want to know the real you outside of work.

You should film yourself casually. No need to get dressed up.

If we’re a good fit for each other, we will contact you to schedule a phone call.

To prepare for this interview, you should have a few questions to ask us. It’s a two-way conversation!

If we’re a good fit for each other after the phone call, you’ll receive a message to schedule an in-person meeting at our company office.

This is your opportunity to see our office, company vehicles, and really picture what your work life will look like.

We will also have an in-depth conversation about HeyMaid’s values and your career goals.

After our in-person meeting, you will receive a message to schedule your drug test. This is completed at a local, third-party drug testing facility.

We will also request your permission to pull a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

These steps make it easy for our Clients to trust us—and easy for you to trust your fellow employees.

Once your drug test, background check, and driving report come back clean, you will receive a message to share a list of professional references.

References are people you’ve worked with in the past who can speak on your behalf. We will never contact someone without your permission— especially your current employer.

The last step… your test project!

The project will test your skills in a relevant, real world scenario. For example—if you’re applying to be a Cleaning Technician—you will clean an actual home using HeyMaid’s tools and checklists.

Your time is valuable and you will be paid for this test project.

And finally… your offer letter! We will email you a link to your letter, stating your:

• Responsibilities

• Start date

• Compensation package

• Uniform stipend (if applicable)

Once we both agree on the terms, you digitally sign. 🎉 You are now officially part of the HeyMaid team!
